What is the yellow sauce?
The yellow sauce is a typical dish of Western Cameroon. It is made from a mixture of spices, mushrooms, palm oil, rock salt, beef skin and/or tripe. In the spice mixture of the yellow sauce, we find among others the ésesè, different peppers used in the mixture of kankan and mbongo. The names of the other spices are known only in the vernacular, so they are difficult to name here.
The yellow sauce has become over time an institution in all Cameroonian kitchens. It accompanies taro puree. Marché Afritibi therefore offers you this delicious blend of spices to delight your taste buds.
