Terre d’Oléane Black Soap
Black soap has been used as a scrub since the beginning of time. Black soap is a 100% natural, biodegradable, economical and ecological cosmetic product. It is made from a mixture of oil and crushed black olives. Black soap is very often applied in hammams to prepare the skin for exfoliation. It gently removes impurities and dead cells.
Afritibi Market offers a black soap enriched with several essential oils including:
- argan oil
- olive oil
- eucalyptus oil
- Ghassoul and rosemary oil
This soap is made in Morocco from olive oil and lye. Very rich in vitamins E, black soap regenerates the skin and allows the elimination of all impurities and dead skin. The combination of olive oil and argan oil nourishes the skin while cleaning it.
To make a good scrub, you have to take your time. So, avoid weekdays with busy schedules. Anyway, once a week is more than enough. First, you have to heat the bathroom well. Those who have access to a sauna, even better. Then, immerse your body in hot water (not boiling hot!) to hydrate the skin in depth for a few long minutes. Clean with the black soap all over but avoid the face area. Leave on for 5 minutes then rinse with warm water: the skin is then ready for exfoliation.
Then rub the body firmly with the exfoliation glove. Layers of dead skin, dirt residues and other toxins are removed, a bit like an eraser rubbed on paper.
Rinse with lukewarm water (not hot this time to avoid irritating the skin). The exfoliation is finished. But not the cleaning process!
Indeed, black soap is not really made to wash, and it would be a shame to stop right now because this is where the fun begins. The most pleasant moment is to wash your exfoliated body with a natural soap, without perfume if possible. And finally, cover your body with 100% virgin Argan Oil. Very hydrating and anti-wrinkle, this dry oil will be completely absorbed by the skin.
