What are the benefits of Kaolin clay?
According to consumers of kaolin (Calabaa), it has benefits such as:
- Reducing nausea in pregnant women.
- Calming ulcer attacks.
- Having antidiarrheal properties.
- Absorbing toxins in the body.
Kaolin clay is also used as a basic ingredient in the preparation of face masks and homemade soap.
White clay in beauty?
As a cosmetic ingredient, white clay (kaolin) is known for its properties:
- Adsorbing, purifying, and cleansing the skin.
- Absorbent and mattifying.
- Repairing.
- Softening.
Caution! Consume white clay in moderation.
While a single dose of kaolin can be used to relieve stomach pain, regular consumption can lead to serious health problems. Kaolin is a piece of rock, making its digestion challenging for the stomach. If consumed in considerable quantities, then obstruction in the intestines can be more serious and lead to other ailments. The pica syndrome that pushes to consume Calabaa can evolve into other digestive complications such as occlusion. In addition, regular and long constipation inevitably leads to deficiencies, particularly in iron and zinc, creating a failure in the body. Excessive consumption of kaolin is therefore at the root of several types of anaemia.
